The camera whirred. Mira’s face ached from holding the expression—something between defiance and surrender. The robe gaped where the photographer had arranged it, the cool air raising goosebumps along her ribs. She wondered how much retouching they’d do. How much of her they’d erase to fit whatever “edge” meant this month.
 

ben newell contributes his poetry regularly to Pink litter and he always has something poignant to say. let’s hope they don’t outlaw dicks–i kind of like them.
